The Office of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who heads the Armenian commission for  delimiting the border with Azerbaijan, told the RFE/RL's Armenian Service that Azerbaijan refuses to accept that it keeps the territory of 31 non-enclave settlements of Armenia under occupation, actually confirming that Baku demands the "return" of 4 villages, not wanting to leave the Armenian territories.

ArmInfo.With the arrival of the summer travel season in Armenia, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan  reminds U.S. citizens that due to the on-going conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, U.S. Embassy employees and their families are prohibited from any non-essential travel to the following locations,  which reflects a slight easing since the restrictions were put in place in September 2022:

The U.S. Embassy in Armenia in its Travel Advisory urged its citizens to avoid from  traveling to the Gegharkunik, Syunik, Tavush, Ararat and Vayots Dzor  regions of Armenia.  Thus, in an updated message on the website of  the American Embassy, US citizens are urged to exercise increased  caution in Armenia due to the armed conflict, noting that some areas  have increased risk.

ArmInfo.The Investigative Committee of Armenia, based on the report of the Prosecutor General's Office, is investigating the incident that took place with a resident  of the village of Khachik, Areni community, Vayots Dzor region.

ArmInfo.On Jule 7, at approximately 16:15, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from various types of small arms, including large-caliber small  arms, on Armenian military positions located in the western part of  the Armenian- Azerbaijani border. The RA Ministry of Defense reports.

ArmInfo. 10 conscript servicemen and one officer were injured as a result of a traffic accident at 127 km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, in the Vayots Dzor region of  Armenia, with the participation of an army KamAZ. The Armenian  Defense Ministry told ArmInfo correspondent.
